I have finally achieved maximum laziness!!

I am sitting in my den at the desk, typing this on my desktop computer. I had just wondered if it was raining outside and instead of getting up and moving the 5 feet to my window and opening the curtains to check, or even rolling my office chair that distance... I opened up the local radar website to see.

Clearly, I need to get out and about, but I'll wait until it stops raining, but will the determination be via the radar or looking out the window?

I sometimes wonder about the ridiculous things I do, but there are things I don't do that are equally ridiculous.

Am I the only one?

I sit within 3 feet of the window where my computer is .. and can see the outside clearly from where I'm sitting ( not now because it's pitch dark)... but often I'll just click on the ring doorbell on my computer and look through that ...

I'm impressed that you know what the local radar website is. I've never even heard of it, let alone check it out.

I'm still physically active but I'm lazy in another way. I promised myself I would do some part-time work or volunteer when I retired. That has been over a year and a half ago. I went through training at our local arboretum but now I've decided I don't want to be around that many people. A greeter? No thanks.

I am going on Tuesday to put up some Christmas decorations in a house at the arboretum but I have found that I really value my free time and don't want to adhere to anyone else's schedule.

Harry Le Hermit, I really appreciate your post about achieving maximum laziness. But, I don't know. You were still able to type. So, it's almost maximum laziness. Admirable effort, though.:)
