Is there anyone who still writes to Pen Pals

I like many in our young days had a couple of pen pals,then some time ago I was reading a weekly published magazine which is called That's Life and seen a add placed by a lady in N.S.W who was asking for pen pals so I replied and started writing snail Mail letters to her. She has a twin sister who lives in S.A but I also enjoy dropping a line to her and receiving a snail letter in return
I have met them both but we continue to always have something to chat about which we both enjoy

The pen pal writers have all grown up and have joined forums like this one.

I also enjoy a snail mail letter, it's a nice change to get a letter instead of another bill in the mail. But with the modern times we really only get the council rates via snail mail now they did try to covert to Internet but the majority voted to still have the bill posted

I've often wondered about pen pall's and some time ago, I searched the internet for "pen pal relationships" I didn't have any luck with my searching. The only non-bill, non-junk mail I get are cards....which I enjoy tremendously

I use to like to hand write a letter but my shaky hand kind of eliminates that. I can still print the letters but takes too long. E- Mail to the rescue.

My 10" tablet has the voice activated keyboard, but I still have to punctuate the sentences..Might as well hand type it all out the first time!! LOL
