Again altho' I enjoyed much of his music I was never personally a super fan..but... this man could sing a phone book and make it a smash hit, ...So much talent... a huge loss to the music industry

I wasn't a big fan of a lot of his hits but if you go on YouTube you can hear him singing a lot of classics and you realize how great his voice is

I'd have to say Elvis. He was almost 3 different singers, the rough 50's rocker, the early 60s smooth as silk singer, and the more bombastic 70s singer

Karen Carpenter comes to mind. Her voice is almost mesmerizing!

She did have a great voice. Weirdly enough, she was also a really talented drummer.

Hard to beat Elvis. Love that sort of late 50s/early 60s period with Little Sister, Marie's the Name, Viva Las Vegas, many others.

Absolutely, that guy was a crook. It will be interesting to see how he's portrayed in the new movie starring Tom Hanks as the Colonel

Sandy Patty the Christian Singer who also has an amazing voice for sure. Sandy Denny however is a British Folk Rock singer who had a brief solo career and played with bands such as Fairport Convention, Fotheringay, and The Strawbs.
