Do you follow the Farmer's Almanac for weather predictions?

The Farmers Almanac is just one of several sources I check for weather predictions. Since I like to putter around outdoors, I try to adjust my activities according to the weather. However, in this part of the country, we're lucky to get an accurate forecast 2 or 3 days in advance.

If these "long range" forecasts are accurate, we will have a nasty Jan/Feb...but then, that is usually the case.

Yep, just have to get this winters firewood back to the house, but gas is so expensive. :ROFLMAO:

I probably have nearly that much piled up behind the house, and ready to go. Then, yesterday, my neighbor across the road said he had a bunch, and wasn't planning on using it in their fireplace anymore. I stopped by there today, and he has almost as much as I already have. If I go get all that wood, we should be set all Winter, and part of next. I may not have to get the chainsaw out for months.

BTW, I chuckled at this picture. That much wood would have the truck sitting on its frame, and the tires would be mashed. Amazing how some people can figure out how to create such a picture.

I used to until they got our winter forecasts for Buffalo&surrounding areas wrong the past 2 yrs
Its bad enough with the 'local experts' who 98% time can't predict how much snow we'll get on any given winter day even with the 'doppler radar'. I just look out my window, decide whether to go out or not

Hmm, I would suspect it depends on your location. SWFL - should be just fine, thank you very much.
