Well I'm just over 3 years until I'm 70.. as long as I remain composmentis .. does this look like someone who is too old to drive...?

Quite frankly, it sounds like someone had way too much time on his hands. It is a way to get those old codgers off the roads. If you're 17, and go through a red light, you get a ticket. If you're 71, go through a red light, you get evaluated. But why should it only be for senior drivers? being young does not make you a qualified driver, as does being old. I'd have no problem going for a driver test every year to qualify, after a certain age.
 
There was a recent accident in Canada. The 76 female went through to a light and hit eight kids, killing one. Sorry, if I don’t have the details correct as it was breaking news when I read it. Scares the h*ll out of me. If I start doing stupid little things, I deserve a ticket and a wake up call.
