Site kept telling my password was wrong. When I tried to reset it, message was that I'd be given instructions on my email address. Nope. Nothing there. This was at least two hours ago! So I gave myself a new name and a different email addy.

Guess what? I've already forgotten the new password:rolleyes:

I keep all my passwords in an address book. I just open it to the little alphabetized tabs - "S" for Senior Forum, etc.. It's a lot easier than looking for them in a cloud or whatever.

I can understand Georgiagranny's predicament. I tried to get into my "easy to access" medical record from the clinic. I enter my password & email. I'm told that no account is associated with them. Well, okay, I'll just open a new account, and use the same password & email. But NO, I can't use the password & email, it seems there is an account with the SAME password & email. HUH??????????????

I had this issue with Apple TV drove me crazy.
 
I have over 100 passwords to remember and obviously can't remember them all. I need to go through again and see which sites I'm likely never to use again and get rid of those. I created the system of recording my passwords in my Google Docs, but in coded format. Only my son and oldest grandson could figure out what they are because they know how the decipher the codes. Most of my passwords contain capital letters, small letters, at least one symbol and numbers. I used to keep them in a book but didn't feel comfortable (in case I had a break in).
