mandee.. there's a lot of us in the UK on this forum...I've been here 8 years... ..we have some in the North of England close to you.. in Wales & Scotland, and me here in the rural shires on the edge of North London...none from NI yet tho'....

I am in the northern USA. It's snowy and wintry here, now. Sending a hello, across the Ocean to you, today!
Glad you found us!

but here in the UK we don't get anything like the amount we used to get years ago, not in the area I live in anyway.

Welcome from Dallas, Mandee! Great group of caring, welcoming people here and great conversation. No need to thank me. I'm sure your fingers are tired by now!

I could never leave you out dseag2, you would be the only one ! I must confess to resorting to some copy/paste
that saved my fingers a little, plus engaging in some 'pacing' of myself by taking breaks.

I have always believed that if someone takes the time to welcome a person, the least that person can do is say 'thank you'.
I think I have got through all the initial welcomes now - and thank you for yours and nice to meet you
