Can't seem to post pics ...

Have tried many times and no luck. Can do it no problen on another forum with the same format. So not sure what the issue is. Keep getting the "Oops,We ran into some problems" message. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike

When I'm on the computer and I see a picture that I want to share I right-click on the image and select Copy image address.

Next, I go to SF and click on the little picture icon insert image then I paste the image address into the link and hit insert.

It's a little different when I use my phone.

Thanks Aunt Bea. Sort of worked. Was able to pull this out of my photo's, but was unable to take something from the internnet and place it here. It's a start. Will keep at it until I get it figured out. This is the beach I walk on every day. Mike

I had the same problem at times. If you save the pic to your pictures folder and post it from there as a jpeg image it should work.

If you "take something from the Internet" — by that, I'm guessing you mean linking to an image on the Internet — if the original is ever deleted (from the Internet), it will result in no image being displayed (and probably a broken image icon). It's always better to save the image to your computer and post it to Senior Forums from there.

I do know that if they have a PNG extension they will not post here. Need to be JPEG

This is a test with a .gif image file. So it appears that .gifs can be used as well.

That's when I use the Snipping Tool.

What's the image URL you tried to post?

I just did it with this pic from Google Images. I right clicked on the image, in the dropdown, I left clicked on Copy Image Link. Then I came to this post and left clicked on the icon Aunt Bea mentioned, Insert Image icon. I clicked on the little link that looks like a paperclip. Then I right clicked to paste the Image link into the box and clicked Insert. You can use this photo here for a practice run, to make it easier to follow the steps. Good luck.
