His other TV role was ' Chuck Mc Donald' on 'The Bob Cummings Show '55-'59
In later years he was executive at CBS from '77-'88
He died of complications from Parkinson's disease ,he was 87

Very clever comedy show, way ahead of its time. He was a perfect straight man to Zelda, Maynard, Chatsworth and the others.

My favorite character on Dobie was Tuesday Weld as Thalia Menninger. Dwayne has, or had, a brother named Darryl. They looked very similar I recall.
