What is your favorite "go to" past time?

Not a chance. After helping my buddy try to fix his last renter's mess, and the 22,000 dollars I had to spend on my Arkansas home after booting renter's, I would just as soon leave it empty. Still torn over which house to keep, the Florida one or the Arkansas one. :(

I’m a lovely clean tenant , you ask my landlords after 20 yrs lol

but I can understand , my sons place was trashed , and had to re build and re design it all again ( which hubby did for him ) …..before putting it up for sale ……..but he made a profit of 240.000 pounds .not bad ah !,

I forgot to mention earlier -
I taught myself to play piano when I was in my teens, and over time, it morphed into composing my own music. I've often joined my poems to my music. This composition was done on the spur of the moment several years ago, so I captured it on camera, added the poem, and made it into a short movie clip. I don't know if this belongs in the media section or not, but thought I'd share here.

This next one, my son showed me how to use the different tracks on my Yamaha. So I composed and played music on my Yamaha, captured the sound on a video camera, and made a movie from it. This creativity brings me great joy.

Those are really nice! I love the way they both change from A Minor to D Minor - 2 of my favorite keys!

Bach simply named this one "Little Fugue." He wrote many like this - simpler than most of his other compositions.
Notice the Happy mood in the first half (G-Major) & the sad mood in the second half (D-Minor)

I try to spend some time every day straightening up the house, otherwise it gets away from me and I have to devote 2-3 days to picking up papers, putting things back where they belong, etc. I enjoy games on my tablet. My niece turned me on to jigsaw puzzles online and I've been enjoying doing that (like several others it seems). I also like card games. I subscribed to Apple Arcade and primarily play their games - NO ADS! And, Feywon told me about the Istry game which is also another one I like. I watch television, mainly programs I have recorded, but also YouTube and streaming services. At night I like to read.

The computer game of Civilization VI. I play it for at least one hour every night before bed. Then I can sleep through the night.
I can understand that. I am more into the Time Management and some of the arcade-type games, but I get how they are relaxing.

I enjoy crossword puzzles. playing games on my cell phone, spending time at home with hubby...going out to eat with hubby and spending time out with my girlfriends as well and chatting on the phone with my family/friends. I also enjoy watching my favorite movies I record.

Words With Friends. Helps keep the old brain sharp.
I wonder if we could connect and play together  Another member and I tried and for some reason, we couldn't do it. You're right, it does help keep the game sharp. There are definitely strategies one can use to improve their skill. I learned a lot from my oldest grandson who I've played with for years. I rarely won when playing with him.

I'll probably seem like the oddball, but doing financial stuff is one of my favorite pastimes. I micro manage my finances. I maintain several spreadsheets, one self generated (list of projected expenditures per quarter), some from self tallying templates (actual spending, fund trades and dividend/capital gain sheets). I'll tweak my budget, make projections and tweak those, check the progress of my investments, etc. I'm managing my granddaughter's money which is currently in one of my accounts, so I have to keep her spending spreadsheet updated as well. Doing these things actually relaxes me...so if I'm stressed or bored, thats what I do.

I also spend a little time, usually after breakfast, playing Words With Friends and Cody Cross (absolutely love this puzzle). Sometimes I'll also play my Mahjong and other tile matching games or the colorful block puzzle, all on my mobile devices.
