Zip, just frozen mud here. We could use more snow, in the mountains anyway, we need the snowpack.
Wow, that's a lot of snow! I hope you stay warm through all of this!18 inches in city where I live
The weather station is located in Cheektowaga,NY{burb of Bflo} where the airport is another record snow total 17 inches. This is the 2nd record snow fall that area has received this month
The snow shovels were out today, removing excess snow from the lanes they missed. They are going to be trucking some of it out, as there is nowhere to put it. They've got it piled so high, it's hard for people to see well enough to make turns, and they haven't done the sidewalks or where people have to catch buses. Speaking of buses, there were something like 500 that were out of commission. When we were out, we saw 3 that were waiting to be towed. Still, they have taken care of it, quite quickly. That's 17.7 inches, that's quite a bit! I googled it![]()
Somebody put this on another thread, (that I can't find)Our roads seem to be okay today. Lots of slush out there, too. And I dropped my mask in it...oh well, I have more.
Yes it was me who posted it. I'll see if I have it on my phone yet and post it if I do...just for you!Somebody put this on another thread, (that I can't find)
Was it you, Ruthanne? Whoever posted it, WOW!
Anyway, I thought it would be a wonderful addition to the snow thread! (I could only get half of the picture)

Oh my, i.e. Holy Moly
Oh! THANKS for re-posting that! Wow!
I wish them the best of luck cleaning all that snow up. I have seen similar snow piles here. One on the driveway to the garage here. I tried to turn quickly into the driveway between the tall snow piles. I made it ok but think I was lucky to get in there. The snow shovels were out today, removing excess snow from the lanes they missed.
