To have that mentality, he must have been a gang member. Or drug dealer. Or perhaps a drug dealer from south of the border, although it doesn't give his citizenship status. In some neighborhoods, violence is a way of life.

even through bail bonds they would need 25K to get him released.

so who paid is the question ... Paid from parents that can afford that
