Not tough enough for this kind of pressure, (ever felt that way?)!

Ever felt you were in a situation where you thought the pressure being asserted upon you was just too great, (or coming from all sides?)?

The situation I'm referring to is a legal matter, where it appears to me getting my own lawyers together, and bought in to following a seemingly sensible path, (one put forward by other highly qualified legal brains), is beyong them, and you feel like you're trying to "herd cats"?! :)

Many of us have probably faced work pressures of one kind or another too, but at least when you get older these situations seem less frequent, or matter less anyway!

Does this ring any bells for you?

I agree with you it is frustrating.....
In my gated community........ the manager that is supposed to be doing things does not and is a bully to any of the older folks knowing they cave to easiest way out of a confrontation .... I recently was her target and now she is job hunting because i stood up to the pressure ... but many find they must pick their battles.

legal matters seem to follow that as well even if you are totally correct so many just want an easy solution and people to back down so the pressure is a point to get people to settle..

That "bullying mentality" seems to be all around where I live, and to my mind includes all kinds of almost subtle variations, (not that most bullies are subtle at all, because they're obviously thuggish, ignorant, thick oiks generally as we know!).

Simply refusing to be polite, or acknowledge someone's presence is a kind of bullying in my view, though it doesn't stop there, (however I'm big enough to make sure less subtle forms of bullying don't impact my life!).

Still, wish me luck when I encounter my lawyers late, (I'll need it anyway. :) )!

I agree with your comments about the way legal matters often turn out, (the unscrupulous rely upon it don't they too!).

Good luck with your legal matter!
Your good luck wishes must have helped, (along with others).

The discussions with the lawyer, and the day generally went well, much better than I could have expected, (even though I managed to pick up two parking tickets in three hours would you believe, in just three hours parked in central Manchester, UK, - don't ask how!!!!). :)

What is IFS????
I had to look it up too, and you'd have to say the list above, (with bankers at number one, and lawyers at six), is very counter intuitive.
I'd say they are probably wrong as well, in terms of the publics opinion of those following a profession of some kind, or maybe they asked a slightly different question, (like "Who do you think you'd be most pleased to see your daughter choosing to marry from the following professions?"! :) ).
