Some days you have it proved to again that you cannot trust anyone, (not having bad day though!)

I might just do that, but not today, I don’t exactly have an abundance of tact..so I will cool down first🤒
Worth avoiding upsetting the dog walker if possible, (especially when you're a bit peeved), and if the use of the photos, though not costing you anything by them using them for advertising, so its just a matter of courtesy we can all understand, then worth considering trying to forgive/forget what happened, or if you cant forget it then next time be sure they can't easily do this to you again, by having a warning of some kind etched on the photos, as some professional designers do!

I appreciate that this person ( not they) is not costing me anything by using the photos I post about my dogs,Twitter is an account in my dog’s names..it is a fun account that I have had for years with over 3,000 followers,I never wanted it to be used for anyone’s profit..not commercialized in other words….

@Snow74 I can understand how this makes you feel. Regardless of whether there is personal cost
to you or not, it is common courtesy to ask someone before helping oneself to their photos etc.
The fact that so many people don't bother to ask is the reason I have always refrained from posting
any photo's online that I wouldn't want someone else to copy.

However, that is just my way and I'm in no way suggesting that you should do the same. I do think
that the suggestion that someone else put forward about putting some kind of warning on your photos
in future is a good one. I hope you can reach an amicable solution with your dog walker :)

I believe some of you may not be familiar with Twitter..Tis more than the photos, when you click on a photo, you can post a comment (nice, cute, etc) this person puts her business advertisement making it seem as if this were the purpose of the account..looks like her own account…

Ahhh I think I got you now Snow, she's not 'copying' your photos for use elsewhere, she's using them on your own
site to advertise her business in the comment box - either in addition to, or instead of a comment on the photo
itself. I would not be at all surprised if you are not the only person she does this to with the idea - why pay for
advertising when she can get free through other peoples Twitter (and possibly FB?) accounts as well as (presumably)
her own. If she has her own account - I wonder if she allows others to advertise on hers.

Oh and great doggie pics - cute too :)

Yes you do get it..I do not mind anyone copying my dogs photos..in fact I am flattered, but my account is not for personal gain and sure as heck not for another’s profit…

Not just women but men also. They can look half decent on their profile photo but look the worse for wear in reality, like me!
I'm not nearly as concerned with how anyone looks as i am with their basic honesty, integrity and capacity to empathize with others. That's something you learn over time thru various kinds of discussions.

Trust is hard to come by even on this fourm, I posted on this fourm for certain members to send me their email address so I could send them a free kindal of my book from amazon, I have to give amazon their email address to send the book, so far no one has took me up on the offer.
What book is this? I don't recall seeing this mentioned before. Just list the url link and I will have a look. I also have books on amazon but have not listed them here.

It is the case too that some very very honest people with lots of integrity and the ability to empathise sometimes wear a "mask", portraying themselves as someone more cynical about life than they truly are, (saying things like "Do I look like someone who gives a darn"!), so this can confuse you/me/anyone not aware of this characteristic of theirs, so sometimes life isn't as simple as we might kid ourselves it is or should be.:(:rolleyes::giggle:;):sneaky:

How honest can they be if they hide their 'mask' their true nature?

And i never said it was simple, i suggested it is better to observe a person over time, particularly it's better than just judging on what you can see in a photo.

Ahhhh, misunderstanding, (you wouldn't have doubted the good nature of the friend I described if youd met her,who died far too young unfortunately). :(
