While he is sometimes abrasive, he is also intelligent and clever. The series After Life became a bit too depressive for me. But two of his movies i enjoyed greatly:
The Invention of Lying
Ghost Town

The 7 seasons of this series should last about 8 to 10 months. In Spanish but you can get English sub titles.

Ghost Town

I didn't know what to expect from After Life...but I was pleasantly surprised.

I'll now look for the other 2 you've mentioned.
There's also one called 'Dexter' that he's done.

We're watching The Outsider series on Netflix DVD. It's pretty good, but I have a feeling that nothing's going to be resolved since there's talk of another season, so it's probably just going to turn into a soap opera.

Bordertown was pretty good at first then towards the final episodes got a little lame. It's in Finnish with English subtitles.

I recommend Stowaway on Netflix.

Manifest was great up until there were others (the one in a cave) having the same experience that were not on the plane. To me got more unbelievable, sorry, spoiler!

Manifest,3 series 42 odd episodes and NO conclusion,have to wait for series 4 it has lost me,also annoying so padded out with irrelevant stuff!!
