Gabapentin Saved My Life

I've been having terrible pain in my feet and legs for SEVEN YEARS. I took 300 mg of Gabapentin last night and had no pain at all. My pain had been so bad that I even considered going to Switzerland for euthanasia or implementing my Living Will to refuse all treatment including nutrition and hydration.

Five years ago I had tried Gabapentin but had a bad side effect: sexual arousal every day for 7 weeks. However, the last 4 years I had no sexual arousal at all. Age made me sexually incompetent and the indirect benefit was my ability to take Gabapentin without any side effects.

Thus, I can now lead a normal life without terrible suffering. My recommendation to all here is, if you have horrific pain, take GABAPENTIN.

Yes be careful...
I took for nerve pain but after a week or so I started to have double vision and focus problems
Not a good sensation !
In the elderly it can sometimes affect the muscles of the eye resulting in these problems.

ooooh that's so upsetting that you were in such pain you thought of suicide and all the time a simple drug like Gabapentin was there to relieve the pain..if only you'd known sooner. Very pleased for you that you're now out of pain, the relief must be palpable .

My husband had dropped arches and it caused him a lot of pain in his ankles, Gabapentin worked for him. I tried it for Neuralgia and it just caused me severe stomach pain..
 
I took it for about 8 months, started at 300 mg, ended up at 1600 mg and it still didn't help. Had side effects of blurry vision and weakness at 1600 mg. Nope, never again.
