The best day, the worst day, the most fun day, and the day that changed your life

Best day: A tie between when my sons were born and when they graduated college.
Worst day: The day my best friend died.
Most fun day: I spent a whole day with my young son and his family in Japan, just riding all the rollercoasters at Fuji-Q Highland.
Day that changed my life: When my dad told me to get a stable job and get married already because I was a grown ass man just sitting on my hands or else...

Worst day: Driving into the city to see Mom at the hospital - being told she died before we could get there.

Most fun day: Going by train from Adelaide to Melbourne overnight, with my daughter and spending the day on a bus that took us to fashion outlets.

Day that changed my life: Train trip from Vancouver to Toronto, in 1967.

The trains sure sound like fun!

The train was a lot of fun. I didn't sleep much, as I took the upper bunk (felt like I was a salt-shaker). Taking a shower was quite an experience!

Best day: As a kid, the day I got my first dog. When my son and daughter were born.

Worst day : When my Mom and Dad passed away.

Most fun: Clamming and fishing in Oregon with my daughter and family.

The day that changed my life: Walking out of my workplace for the last time and getting married the following weekend.

I never get to do that here. I did in Japan and it was just magical. Everything was just so high tech and high class.

Worst day : When my Mom and Dad passed away.

I feel like a bad son. Most people would agree that it would be their worst day. To me, I just think they were gone at the right time. I was not as sad as one should.

Getting married.

Breech birth of our first son.
And learning that he had some physical handicaps.
Next would be the death of my mother day before my birthday.

Anytime spend with oldest son is a fun day.

Things that changed my day,, I think most of the things mentioned in middle of my thread.

It's funny how a single conversation can change your whole life.

A couple years after college, someone I had known in college was back in town (New York) for a few days. We met for lunch, and at some point in the conversation she said that if I came to California, I could stay with her and her husband until I got set up on my own. So I came Hollywood and found my way into the entertainment industry. Were it not for that one lunch date, I might still be in New York doing . . . who knows what?
