BUT, if you don't need the belt to hold up your pants, or wear your shirt UNtucked where no one can see your pretty belt buckle, then Why?

There’s always that option. But why do so many women accessorize with jewelry, scarves, etc. when those kinds of things don’t usually serve any practical purpose. Make up too. What are they trying to hide and from whom? Consumerism, it’s good for America, good for the world!

What @hollydolly said. You won’t find my jewellery either. My jewellery box holds the costume stuff. I’d feel sick if the box itself were stolen; it’s made of birds eye maple.

And if you’re having a terrible, no good extremely bad day, well, a belt can become a handy tool in many instances.

A couple of thoughts. Curtains (sheer or lace) allow you to look out but people can't look in if your window is not on a very private area. Also at night, most I would think, don't want people looking into their home. Headboards. I'd be worried a spider would come down the wall and on my pillow. My bed has a footboard also and it seems kind of useless though I have the "couch" area set up for the cats at the foot of the bed.

I'm not Christian but believe Jesus existed. We didn't have holidays growing up and now finally I decorate 1/2 the year winter/holiday and the other 1/2 spring/summer, chicks and bunnies.

You’re right, I stand corrected. And suspenders like those, well, they blow my skirt up and if I knew a lady were wearing them, I’d hope that her skirt be blown up too! But those stockings weren’t made for wearing with suspenders, or I don’t think so. Lacy tops wouldn’t fare well against the clasps. You say tomato, I say an edible red fruit that goes well in many dishes.
