My name is Daniel and I am 75. I live in Alberta, Canada in a neighborhood southeast of Edmonton. I am a Retired Professor of the University of Alberta where I taught Religious Studies. This is where I met my 2nd wife and we married in 1996 when I was 50 years old. She is 10 years younger than me. We enjoy going to the theatre, concerts, art museums, dinners, and also trying skiing from time to time. I look forward to being a part of a community of people who are around my age and may share some of the same interests as myself.

Welcome Dan!

Religious studies huh, you should find some interesting discussions here. Maybe too simplistic for you, but people are interested.

Look forward to hearing more from you!
Thank You, I find any discussion no matter the topic if it sparks my interest never to be too simplistic. I believe people learn from asking the simple questions which then lead to the more complex.

Thank You Kalia. I am from the Western part of Canada.

I very often watch for any wild birds out my window, Daniel.
Your area would have different varieties than my local ones, near the Atlantic Ocean! :geek:
Very much so. We have the common Sparrow and other Sparrows in our area and Finch. Sometimes you can catch a Purple Finch as well. You can also catch a Black Billed Magpie as well. Plus many other birds if you are lucky.

Welcome to the forum, always nice to meet new posters. We live in beautiful BC, so we are sort your neighbors.
My neighbour to the West and BC is quite beautiful. Thank You for the welcome.
