I wasn't looking to add Peacock to my streaming services but did so due to an ad in one of my games. I found it has enough of a catalog to keep me interested and I can choose the free options. I've been watching another reboot of (The) War of the Worlds and there have only been video ads before the program begins and non video ones when I pause the program. I love this. Other shows have limited ads, at least less than other free services. Paramount+, for which I have a paid subscription also shows brief trailers of their shows before the desired program begins as do some Hulu shows (even though I have the no ad plan), so I've gotten used to that. Peacock also has shows and movies that are only accessible with a paid subscription and those are flagged with a feather in the corner.
Do you have Peacock and/or other free services such as Tubi, The Roku Channel, FreeVee (formerly IMBD) and Pluto? All are available using the Roku player and some may be available using Firestick.
