Em, what are negative heel shoes? Never heard of this.Bare was my default foot-style for most of my life. Lately, I've become a big fan of socks and also just purchased a pair of negative-heel shoes to improve my posture.
Do you remember the Roots sandals or the Birkenstock shoes ? Both negative heel designs. JimB.Em, what are negative heel shoes? Never heard of this.
Me, too!Always barefoot around the house but do wear shoes in the yard unless I plan to stay on the deck.
That's me too, @Em in Ohio!Bare was my default foot-style for most of my life.
Hi Lee. The soles are designed to keep your heels lower than the rest of your foot. This really does change the way one stands. I noticed that I was developing a curvature of the spine, pushing my gut forward. These gently push you back into alignment. They are designed on the principle that walking barefoot in soft mud or deep grass, your heel imprint will always be the lowest point. I had a pair of sandals like this in the 70's and wore them into oblivion. Sadly, the store isn't showing any negative heel sandals.Em, what are negative heel shoes? Never heard of this.
