Some years back in New York City most of the major news outlets contracted helicopters from providers with very poor service programs and FAA mandated maintenance records. Caused some avoidable deaths. Shame.

My favorite was the guy from down South, driving his pick-up. A fuse blew and he was out of pennies. So...he...used...that's right...a bullet.

Completed the circuit. Kept driving.

Bullet heated up, fired, struck him in the leg, pick-up went off a cliff.

And another idiot who did not get to keep his DNA line in the gene pool.
 
Are or were you a helicopter pilot?

There's a retired airline pilot on here, who posts sometimes....
