British ladies, about those fabulous hats?

It was the same here in NZ, you were not considered dressed unless you wore a hat, I did enjoy wearing them, I was sorry when the fashion was dropped.

you should start it again...we wear hats here whenever we want... and I wear them all summer... and beanies in the winter...

These are hats in a museum in little Post, Texas. Could be the original owner was a regular at the Kentucky Derby.

A few years ago there was a special on tv about the lady that made the Queens hats. I think it might have been on 60 minutes. Evidently the Queen saw one of the hats she had made for someone else, requested her services and has made them ever since.

I have never worn a hat pin, I find them very uncomfortable
