Lots of hazards in Yellowstone, scalding kills more than bears or bison.

An interesting fact about Yellowstone is there seems to be a portion of the park that due to a constitutional loophole has no clear legal authority, and it might be possible to get away with murder. It is the part of the park that lies in Idaho. Federal, not State law applies in Yellowstone, and the Constitution requires that juries in Federal criminal cases must be made up of citizens who are from both the district
and state where the crime was committed. Problem is no one lives in the Idaho section of the park, so it would not be possible to make up a jury for a crime committed there. Don't think it has been tested yet.
