I read today that the CDC is taking about mask wearing to prevent contacting Monkeypox. I think I smell a rat. I did some reading on this earlier and saw that this disease is a 'contact' disease. You have to come into contact with someone infected with the virus to catch it. Below is one of the sources where I found direction to follow. Do your own research, but we are talking about a disease similar to Chicken Pox and anyone who has had a smallpox vaccination already has some immunity.

- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) when caring for people infected with the virus.
