Mac OS upgrade

I finally did the upgrade from Catalina to Monterey....took about three hours.
My system was running slow when loading so thought the upgrade might help clean it up and speed it up.
So far I don't see much difference in speed in loading etc., but do notice some new apps that might come in handy.
My Mac is now six years old and so far have had no major problems so guess I can live with it.

I have a 2013 Core I7 iMac that's stuck on Catalina - but it's still running like a champ. Only once along the way did I wipe it and do a full re-install.

That sounds like a good accomplishment, to me.
I know nothing about Mac, but it's great that you got thru that task.(y)

I run Monterey, but be aware it needs regular updates... it will tell you when it's about to update.. so you can close apps etc before it does.. ( it gives about a days' notice)..

I don't allow automatic updating... just notification and look in on the Mac forum now and again for tips etc.
