Who Remembers Coloured Toilet Rolls

What happened to them.
I remember buying them to match my bath towels..
Our derrieres don't know the difference but they sure did look pretty.

I definitely remember them and bought them at the time They don't make them any more because of dye and the cost. We just pay more for basically boring white and no "bling"...haha.

I remember warnings to women about ******l infections due to the dye used on them. Not having a ******, I wasn't worried, but I still didn't buy them based on the higher price. JImB.

I remember my wife buying them and the got a UTI. The doctor suggested getting rid of them. No more UTI’s. Same with scented toilet paper, even if the scent is in the tube.

we used to tear the newspaper into the correct size, just
after WWII.

I didn't know that it caused infections...there you go! You could still use them just for show, not for use.

Haha...yes I remember we had to cut newspaper in to neat squares after it was read from end to end...
I don't remember any derriere problems as I was very young during war years but I suppose some adults might have.

yes, I remember colored tp, I even purchased the product way back when.

just prior to the lockdown, I went to an estate sale and found two, pink 4-packs, still wrapped; purchased them for 2$ each, then flipped them on eBay for a tidy profit...

I don't recall ever seeing tissue that was actually colored, although when I had my first apartment I often bought tissue that had colored roses on it.
