A 2-year-old girl has a long road to recovery after she was mauled by a pack of her family's puppies.

Little Felicity was outside with mom Sierra Michele Peden, her dad Michael, and her three siblings, Samantha, 13, Daisy, 10, and Daryl, 1, doing yard work in preparation for a "housewarming party/double birthday bash" earlier in June, along with the family's four 12-week-old puppies, according to an update written on GoFundMe.

I never understood why people let dogs, cats, kittens, puppies..whatever pet, near their helpless babies. Even if there was no safety concern, for me there would be a concern about germs. I had a crazy Siamese cat when my son was born and made sure that cat was gone before I brought my baby home. We had another cat who was cool, so she was allowed to stay but she could not be in the crib or bed when my son was there. My mother used to say that cats were known to "suck the breath" out of a baby. I suspect that was an old wives tales but I wasn't taking any chances. What happened to that poor little girl is so sad and tragic. I wouldn't be surprised if she's traumatized for life. The girls parents were remiss in their duties here.

And I thought the animals with the most ridiculous myths were snakes!
The forked tongue has a deadly stinger on the end of it.
Snakes will grab their tail in their mouths, form a Hula Hoop & chase after you.
A snake will intentionally starve himself to make room in his stomach so he can eat people.
