Do You Still Wear Jeans?

at anything up to £1000 a pair, I don't think you could call jeans, workwear :ROFLMAO:
Gucci jeans have actually appeared in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive jeans in the world, with price tags going up to $3,100.

$3,100 that's about £2,500, but they are still just a pair of jeans.
No criticism meant by that, they just don't appeal to me, each to their own.

I like my joker jeans and they are in my book of records. They are priceless😂

Yes, but it's getting difficult to find ones with elastic waists. The last time I was at WalMart, I didn't see any. I asked the clerk in charge of the changing rooms and she said she hadn't see elastic waist jeans in a long time. I need some too. (and don't suggest I order online - I don't have a credit or debit card).

Most women seem to be wearing leggings these days. I don't like how they make legs look - it's like the garment was painted on the body!

why don't you get someone you know with a debit card to order online for you.. and you give them the cash ?

Some think they are only for the young. I watched two young girls snickering and pointing at a lady today wearing jeans, she had to be over 70, but she was sporting the ripped jean look with the rips in obvious places meant to show skin, lots of skin.

They were not laughing at me and I was wearing jeans and a tee. Or maybe they were behind my back. Do the young think they have a monopoly on fashion?

Nothing a comfy as a well worn pair of jeans for me.
I started wearing jeans in the '60s. I still wear them. I hope to die in them. I'll be buried in them. You could call me a Levite!

I agree with you hollyd. Please do not make life complicated.😔
The history is that Deb doesn't have a credit or debit card, many times we'll suggest she buys something which would be a lot more affordable or easy if she could buy online, but for her own reasons she won;t have either which means she's often stuck paying higher prices, or unable to source goods because she has to pay cash ...so over the years we've tried to suggest other ways for her..

Yes, I did follow the story a bit.

That's all I wear, Deb .. and mine are not skin tight. Try on some in a larger size .. they have elastic waists and are comfortable. It's all I see, on younger and older women. Jeans are too warm for our summers.

Leggings just don't look good on some people. I'm not quite that overweight, but I don't think they're a good style for me.

I can't possibly wear leggings in summer, they're lycra, with nylon, so they're far too hot...

I wear denim shorts, or a dress ..as I did today.. yesterday I wore ripped jeans to the salon... even tho' it was hot outside because it was going to be cool in there.. and later in the store..

Yes, I find Just My Size jeans comfortable, elastic waist, soft material, comes any many colors and sizes and my Walmart carries them....I usually order online because I wear a short size, a little harder to find, I just find it easier to order online.
