The picture is deceiving Blessed. The marks don't actually look like drips but horizontal lines going from one part of the arm to it's underside. The middle line extends further than the top one. No cleaning products touch my arms. If anything it would be evident on my hands because sometimes I use products without gloves. Also, normally when I bruise, my skin turns purplish, not brown.Maybe something got on your skin, cleaning product or lauandry detergent. They can cause a reaction. Kind of looks like something drip down your arm.
You said: "Sorting can be stressful. Have you tried treating to see if any of the typical substances work?" I don't understand that part of your reply in relation to what I posted. Can you clarify?Sorting can be stressful. Have you tried treating to see if any of the typical substances work? I have a couple of spots on my face that came after the shingles period, but they don't look like shingles. They are scaley and itch. Rubbing alcohol didn't work, but tea tree oil removed the scaley part. Now the larger place is a red spot.
I agree, except I never burned myself. If I burned that large an area, I know I'd remember. And what's that pattern all about?!I once discovered about 3 deep scratch marks on my back .. where I couldn't reach. Could not figure out how I got them.
@OneEyedDiva .. that looks like a burn scar to me.
To clarify, I as asking if you tried to determine if there a solution, product, that has a beneficial effect. I'll look back, but I thought I went on to say I tried rubbing alcohol on a mark and that didn't work, so I tried tea tree and that had a type of effect. That way I can rule out what the mark might not be, by no help with rubbing alcohol. Sometimes I'm juggling while on the site, such as on the phone, so that might be why some of my responses aren't clear. You said: "Sorting can be stressful. I know about those bruises , it is very rare for me to know what happened to give me bruises, but I have them all over.Yep...recently I've been finding bruises on my arms and legs with no recollection of how they got there. The ones on my shins are especially puzzling because I'm hardly likely to forget giving myself a big enough whack on the shin bone so as to cause bruising
Oh okay. It was the "Sorting can be stressful." part that confused me since it didn't seem to apply the context of the OP. The lotion I use does a pretty good job of taking care of marks and scars. The marks I posted about have faded quite a bit. And I have a good back up, if they didn't...pure shea butter balm.To clarify, I as asking if you tried to determine if there a solution, product, that has a beneficial effect. Does micro needling hurt? I assume they numb the area though. I'd probably just as afraid of the numbing (if a needle is used for that) as well as the procedure! I really hate needles.Hi, I had a few forehead lines, but they were only on the sides, above my brows, not all the way across. I got rid of them using a Morpheus8 (a non-surgical advanced needling procedure). They are completely gone. I know not everyone likes micro-needling, but it has kept my skin tight and smooth for more than ten years.
No, it's not. I have a friend who is bruising very easily now. She's also having other dermatological issues, but she hasn't reached her 70s yet.I seem to bruise far easier as I gotten older. I remember a time when I had to take a pretty hard hit to bruise, but those are long gone now that I am 80.
Getting old is not for the timid.
So it's not just me, then. All the time, I go to bed and I am fine, I wake up with bruises.
No, not just you.So it's not just me, then.
