Recollection Road...great series of videos to look back on the old days

This last week I have discovered a great series of videos on You Tube called Recollection Road. They are basically looking back on the old days that many of us boomers will remember. Trends in home design, cooking etc. I watch a few a day



 

Love it. I love vintage things, my most recent thing is a ceiling to floor lamp. It is the kind where you twist it to make it tight to the ceiling and floor, it has 3 lights and I even got the original gold/yellow bulb covers with the ruffled tops and bubbles in the glass. I have not investigated yet but I think it will be late 50s into the 60s. It came from an estate sale.
