When I was young I started saving all the books I liked and stashing them here at the cabin to read in my retirement. I found out my "taste" in books has changed over the decades.I'm a life long book reader, since 2000,kept a book journal of all the books I've read. I write a short recap {1-3 sentences} of books I loved/liked, the ones I didn't I put DNF/L{didn't finish or like} in margin Once in awhile if I read a book critics raved about/won Pultizer Prize I didn't like,I say to myself 'You got to be kidding"
I put RNM on my lists (which are by genre). Read no more (books by this author).I'm a life long book reader, since 2000,kept a book journal of all the books I've read. This reminds me of the time, when my kids were young (6 or 7), and the whole family was in the den. I looked around because it was so quiet, and all 6 of were reading. It was the first time that happened, and it is a cherished memory.
