That looks so moist in the picture. thanks, I LOVE chocolate cake!
I made this once or twice for hubby's birthday. Getting too lazy to bake now. Perhaps I'll make this for his next birthday.

That sounds like a great recipe, very similar to one that used to appear on the Hershey's cocoa can.
I used to make a similar recipe as a sheet cake for picnics and potlucks.
I frosted half of the cake with vanilla frosting and the other half with chocolate frosting.
Then I sprinkled chopped walnuts on half of the chocolate frosted section and mini chocolate chips on half of the vanilla frosted section.
When cut and put out on plates it created the illusion that they had four different cakes to choose from.

This old recipe from the Great Depression makes a nice small cake without too much work.
I mix it in a bowl as opposed to mixing it in the pan.
