What is your favorite season?

Spring! Warm temps, rain, green everywhere, lots of blossoms and flowers. Plus I know summer is just around the corner.

I know that people in my state would think I was crazy but absolutely
Winter
1. Winter here means more people are indoors to make less crime (even though if they're desperate they won't care)
2 It's easier for me to breathe
3 I like the scenery in the Winter and looking at decorations

They're probably more reasons but I can think right now. I have a headache 🤕

What is your favorite season? Why? What do you do in that season? You may only choose 1 season.
1 Spring
2 Summer
3 Autumn
4 Winter
Winter
It's long in the mountains
Don't see terra firma for a good portion of the year
but it slows one down a bit
Winter says, 'hey, look at me, let's have coffee together'

Gotta figger yer day
but
Sometimes winter figgers it for ya

Inside becomes a haven
Outside becomes a heaven

In winter, anywhere, in or out, is the place to be

Winter will make a warm fire captivating
it warms heart and soul

I don't care much for the cold weather. It's just a hassle to do anything outside, but it does make me appreciate the other seasons. And there is something to be said for sitting around watching the snow fall from the warmth of the indoors... until I have to shovel it, that is.

This may seem like a peculiar answer but it's the truth. I think May is the prettiest month. I love seeing the trees flower. It never gets old, but May can be cold and even rainy some years, so Spring is not my favorite season, though it could be for the visual beauty. I'd have to say summer, if someone held me at gunpoint. :ROFLMAO:

Autumsn - for the colour!

Taken back in Autumn 2019 before the world went haywire.

High Rigg in lovely Autumn light with low cloud over Clough Head and Great Dodd beyond. The Beautiful English Lake District.

It depends on where I'm living.

In Montana, I like them all except spring. The weather was nice in the valley, but all the good hiking trails were buried in deep snow, and the back roads were still muddy and impassible. With things warming up, I was going nuts waiting to hit the trails and high lakes.

In Virginia, I love the spring. Watching everything come back to life after a dead winter is something to behold, and winter doesn't offer anything special. So in Virginia, it's Spring followed closely by summer and fall.

Give me Autumn please. For all the reasons everyone else said, plus:

I dig up my Iris rhizomes in the autumn when the weather finally cools, then I replant them where I want my flower beds to be. Then I wait for the wonderful transformation come spring. 🌷

Also, love the smell and taste of pumpkin spice. Candles, food, lattes, MMMmmmmmm 🥮
