It was several........now don't get into a war with me if my ancestors were outlaws or something. I know nothing about them except their name and how they fit into my family tree. They are Monro, Fraser, Ross, Dunbar, Moray, Maclean, Calder and Boyd. This is the spelling on my tree and they were in the 1493 and on.

Welcome,

I always enjoy our Scotts, and reading their perspectives on topics and issues.

With me having the last name of Cameron, I know that generations ago, someone in my heritage brought that fine Scottish name with them to settle in the new world.

I hope to see your fine land someday.

Welcome Hollow!

Interesting choice of names, why "Hollow"?

I am in Florida right now and the forecast is for much rain today, but I would bet it will be warmer than yours.
Hi Rob, well Hollow is the name of a street I used to live on as a child.
And the temperature is 60°F with me and imminent rain 🌧️

That doesn't sound bad. It's 73 here right now, 5:30 am and still dark, forecast is for a high of 93, with heavy rain. Steamy...
Good grief, I couldn't cope with that....our midges would have a party on us, haha! Its 10:54am with me just now. I'm in the Gulf Stream, so its always slightly warmer than the rest of Scotland, which makes for milder winters.....pity that, because I adore the snow!

My wife and I watched with sad hearts the memorial that the Scottish people gave to the Queen. It was a moving and a beautiful memorial they offered to the Queen and Royal Family. Well done, Scotland!
