We ordered a new dinette set on line. I kind of hated to buy something I hadn’t seen in person, but we had no real choice if we wanted to get what we wanted. Website said delivery in three to four months. Not a surprise these days. It came today, less than a month from ordering. Yay! We had to pay an extra fifty bucks for them to put it on our front porch, as opposed to the end of our driveway 🙄 But it came. And there was more than some assembly required. Table legs needed to be screwed in place. All six chairs had to have four casters literally pounded into the legs, and the chair leg piece had to be screwed to the chair seats. Took Dave several hours to do, with my help. I put the old set on Facebook marketplace and it was gone before we finished setting up the new table! And the trash guys are coming tomorrow to pick up the boxes and packing material, so it all worked out well. In fact, I am amazed at how well it went. The company we ordered from is in Richardson, Texas, but alas, the furniture itself is right outta China. Sigh BEB46B56-6B47-4BBD-B43B-987F4AA37C09.jpeg

It looks so comfortable! And we lucked out like you did when we ordered a new sofa. We visited three places and heard about delays up to three months before we could sit on our new sofa. Then the one we liked came to us in less than a month. We felt so fortunate!

We went to Best Buy yesterday to replace our ten year old Panasonic microwave oven which stopped working. The salesman said 4 days for home delivery. This morning at 8 am we got a text saying " Good News your delivery will be this morning at 9 AM ". It arrived at 9 AM. Next day delivery. Today we will be going to Canadian Tire to buy a new double tray air fryer, which is priced at $ 149.00, which is 50 percent LESS that at Best Buy. It is the exact same model and brand name , but half as much. It pays to shop around. JimB.

Great news! We absolutely love our air fryer.

We do marinated chicken thighs, salmon, pork roast, french fries and much more; just can't remember right now. It's a pain to clean, though.
Thank you for your quick reply. What makes it a pain to clean ? Is it the size of the trays, or the material they are made from ? JimB.

It's mostly having to clean the interior, because despite it being an air fryer, grease will spatter on the walls of the air fryer. If you don't clean it right away (it's easy if you do it immediately) that is when it becomes a pain to clean it. So, a quick wipe down is best.

Thank you, again. That was very helpful to me. I think that will be easy enough for us to do. Both my Wife and I are good about cleaning up after a meal. The new microwave is getting a work out right now, cooking some beef pies for our lunch today. Cheers from Toronto to you in PA. JimB.
