Stop vaping!

Do you know anyone who does?

And,

What's your opinion...of it all?
🤔

Vape smokers have their heads in the clouds. They inhale the 'stuff' therefore it goes into their lungs or any other organ in the body. Our government was hell bent of getting rid of smoking, they raised the price of tobacco continually, hoping to make it unaffordable, banned smoking inside, then encouraged them to 'vape' , the vape stores are everywhere, There is none so blind than those who don't want to see.

The gym I go to has a line of windows that look out into the parking lot, it always surprises me to look out and see a fellow gym member exiting their car surrounded be a big cloud of smoke. They must have that last puff of death before they work at making themselves healthy. Sadly counterproductive in my opinion.

Vaping is considered the lesser of two evils. I personally don’t know anyone that does it, though I see lots of younger folks doing it.

Our government is encouraging people to vape? I'm not getting any encouragement from them.

Nothing goes into the lungs when you vape. Vaping juices get vaporized in your mouth. The "smoke" you exhale isn't actually smoke, it's vapor. That's why they call it vaping. (maybe newer vaping units work a little differently, idk. I'll ask one of my vaping neighbors)

There is a study that claims a chemical called Diacetyl, an ingredient found in 2 or 3 of the "buttery" flavored juices, does get into your upper airways when you vape, and it causes disease. In the summery of that study, it says the Diacetyl is released "when heated" during vaping. But vaping devices don't heated up, so that's really confusing.

*btw, I do not vape*

One of my boys vapes, but it’s not nicotine. He’s been diagnosed with depression/anxiety, and he vapes a cannabis derivative because he’s struggled with side effects or the various anti depressant prescriptions he’s been put on. The vaping works so much better for him!
