My girlfriend shoes are 12 inches. And mine is 8.5 in size.

on vacation, back in September.
I wear a size 7.5 shoe via USA measuring shoe size.
Speaking of shoe sizes:
A woman walked into a bar in Austin & saw a cowboy with his feet propped up on a table.
He had the biggest feet she'd ever seen.
She asked the cowboy if it was true what they say about men with big feet.
The cowboy grinned & said, "Why sure, little lady! Why don't ya come on out to the bunk house & let me prove it to ya?"
The woman wanted to find out for herself, so she spent the night with him.
The next morning she handed him a $100.00 bill.
Blushing, he said, "Well thank ya, ma'am.....I'm real flattered.
The woman replied, "Take the money & buy yourself some boots that fit."

Why do Countries have different measurements for
the same number attached to a shoe, it confused
me when I was travelling to different countries to
work and sometimes had to buy shoes/boots.
A small sample from the internet, I think that in the
UK, men and women's shoe sizes are the same.
I wear a 10.

Traditionally, in European countries. adult shoes were measured in 'Barleycorns', being 1/3 of an inch. So if your foot is 30 barleycorns, you would take a size 10 shoe.

Not something that I bother about really, my shoes are hand made, it's the only way that I can find decent two tone shoes. My preferred style are known as spectators. Here's a leather and canvas pair.
