I'm surprised the airline isn't being pressured into changing its name.. claiming 'Virgin' is discrimination against promiscuous individuals...

I'd feel a little uncomfortable if she wore heels. I know pilots never "slam on the breaks", but I do think stable footwear is a good thing to see on your airplane pilot...probly a psychological thing.

Well, I don't know what they would wear, but I was thinking of something like the first picture......not the second.

Actually,I think pilot uniforms were slacks only until fairly recently, but on some airlines flight attendants could chose either pants or skirt since the 60s. And, yeah, short heels for the women.

You know, not all that long ago there were only a few female commercial pilots in the whole world, and they could only fly for small airlines.
