I do try to keep up at least a little with current stuff, even in the entertainment world, but this guy's article is really funny. (Of course he's *only* in his 40s but I could still relate, lol.)

Every once in a while, I'll check out some contemporary music. This video showed up in my YouTube recomendations... The Arctic Monkeys.

Boring! Apparently, they're one of the top bands around today, but they suck! WTF?

I keep away from pop culture and I definitely keep away from social media (except this site if this is social media). I think I would be pretty silly trying to do or keep up with what 20 or 30 year olds are doing or thinking. It's hard enough keeping up with those in the 70s so forget about those young people with the fur faces, tattoos and generally bald heads. Chances are good that they wouldn't understand me and view me as a sort of relic from the by gone era.

I know. Recently, I fell in love with a song on a commercial so I start searching for it. Finally found mention of it on a reddit thread & that lead me to it on YouTube so I've got it saved now. But one of the YT replies was, "Well if you're that interested in such a *boring* song, here's where you'll find it." So I'm boring, lol.
