If A Tree Falls…..

So is it only sound waves that people don't believe in when no ear detects them? What about the light waves that reflect off a tree making it visible, if no one with eyes sees the reflected light does the tree itself not exist? Or does the light not exist if not perceived by anyone's eyeballs? What about magnetic fields? Or neutrinos that pass through the planet without changing anything or being detected?

That’s worded poorly, let’s say there was one tree, tall. (I inserted nothing to include creatures of any kind but poorly written. Oops.)

i think the idea behind that was that the difference between the gravity... here & there... should result in the both hitting the ground at least closer to the same time.

we need to spend billions on sound monitors and place them in EVERY forest and hire people at a massive salary to monitor the monitors.

Actually I wrote a lengthy article on this topic. It is much broader and complex in philosophy. Besides sound consider colors and dimensions like sizes. The original author of this theory is Bishop George Berkeley from 17th century Ireland. He said no sound exists No material stuff exists at all. No matter. The world is all ideas. Except God knows everything. No one agrees with this! He is very logical and clear but lacks common sense. I think it makes noise and disagree strongly with him

Right. The laws of physical science are not dependent on the presence of man. Or anything else. It does make a sound.
 
If a tree would fall and make no sound, the world would be out of balance, kind of out of round. If a tree were to fall and make no sound, the animals would not be able to flee, to find higher safe ground. If a tree were to fall and make no sound, there would be dead animals under the tree. How often has it been since you have seen, a dead animal under a fallen tree?
