Weird DVD problem

Jeez, what a very, very strange problem with one of my DVD's. Music plays just fine, BUT it does not play any voices. It worked fine the last time I watched it. All of my other DVD's work just fine. Weird !

A stereo that cuts out I have had happen in several ways. If listening to the radio there could be a break in the radio waves, when walking to or from it. Like watching an older TV with rabbit ears, and you have to sit in the right place to get the best reception. If that is it and your stereo has a fitting to put on an extra antenna it could help. If your stereo has external speakers the connecting wires could be going bad, for they become old and brittle. Putting on new good quality speaker wires could make your stereo sound like new again. If those may not be the problems, I have found microwaves can affect the audio performance, even a light switch that is turned off or on.
So, what about a stereo that cuts out every time I walk into the kitchen 15 feet away?

No visible scratches, but it did have one fingerprint. I polished it with t.p. and it works fine now. Thank you

Yep. Kinda obvious problem that I overlooked.

I think I knew somebody that used to buy bootlegged CD's and DVD's and that would be the result of the optical components not being inspected after only GOD know how many hours of nonstop recording. Also original mike selections were not cued in correctly from the audio mixers. The big league audiophiles and videophiles use linen gloves when they handle their disc.
