What have you been meaning to fix-for the last two years?

Yeah, we all do it-procrastinate. I've been meaning to fix the floor vent in my bedroom for the last two years. When the heat comes on, it sort of whistles. Every night, in bed, it reminds me. Today, I went to Lowe's to get a new one. TADA- nope still whistling. According to their site, they had my vent in stock- they lied.
So, what have you been meaning to fix for the last two years. There's gotta be something.

Got a new padlock for my shed today.
The old one I lost the key for it, but somehow, with a bit of wire I've been managing to open the padlock for quite some time.
Anyway, the nice shiny new one is fitted and I have 3 keys for it, but..... but....but, I will keep the old one with the piece of wire as a spare. 😊

I've got a running list of things that need fixing....and it seems to grow. Perhaps the biggest issue is the carpet beginning to show some wear. But, if it gets substantially worse, that may be the sign that it's time to sell this place and move to an apartment. I can't imagine spending days moving everything around, and spending thousands for flooring that the next owners might not like....better to offer a discount on the price and let them do what they prefer...without having to hassle with all the furniture, etc.

The leak under the kitchen sink.
Well, my husband's been meaning to fix that... and a few other things.
Lemme think, what have I been meaning to fix... um, the slippy strap on my gray bustier, the spring on my mounted mag. light... the wonky detours in my neural pathways?

A few pavers on the walkway from the garage to the back of the house. There's either something growing underneath that's pushed them up or they've slipped out of place. I'm gonna do it. The question is when?

Every year I patch my roof and it only lasts a year. I'm too cheap to have it done right!
Every year I re-stain my wrap around porches but I'm too lazy this year.
I haven't re-oiled the log fences around my acre, cause again, I'm too lazy.

I'll get to it! Maybe next Spring!
Maybe sell it and start over.

Oh no! My little diggins is perfect! The weather is fantastic here. I love my home, my gallery, my studio!
My place is kinda rustic, Western. Anyway, I love it!
Maybe so, but you have a hole in your roof. You probably need to replace it. How many roofs are on it now?

I just started a bathroom rebuild - replace sub floor, tub to shower conversion, tile, plaster & paint. I was going to do it last year, but I got tired of looking for an honest contractor.
So far, looks like I found one.

I love this thread! Glad to have company in the procrastination department! (y)
Finally bought a new Moen kitchen faucet, but that was only two months ago...gotta do install it soon...

Gotta finish installing the paneling I bought for a storage room behind the garage, maybe when the daytime temps drop a bit....or maybe next spring when it warms up....
