Do you still have Trick or Treaters where you live?

I remember being 5, wearing a mask you really couldn't see out of, and holding out my orange plastic pumpkin, so people could fill it with candy. I just couldn't believe it, people just gave me candy. Then came the razor blades, etc. Since i moved into this development 30 years ago, nobody has come "T&T" ing. Some places have designated safe T&T homes. Do you still have Trick or Treaters where you live?

The only time we didn't get anyone was during the corona bug plague, Oct 2020. Otherwise we still get some, not as much as years ago but around 30-50 kids.
That reminds me, I need to move Mrs. Hazy's potted cactus plant off the front porch.. 😮

I live in a high rise. We can sign up to have Trick or Treaters come to our doors. Building management then produces a list of apartments that are participating, and the list is available to anyone who wants it. It is limited to only those kids who live in the building, they must be accompanied by an adult. There are designated hours...4pm to 6pm. It keeps things simple and safe for everyone. This year is the first year post lockdown.

Oh yes the road is like something out of a Movie on Halloween night.. In the dark there's crowds of adults and kids, walking along knocking on most doors.. They start just as it gets dark.. and stop around 9pm...

Our condo is on the last block of a residential neighbourhood with lots of houses. Door-to-door trick-or-
treating is not allowed within the building. The kids who live in the condo can get donated treats at the security desk, and I'm sure that many go house-to-house.

It is discouraged, rather...having a community holloween party for kids along with their parents or other adult at the country club.
