Seniors buy the most Lottery tickets of all the age groups

My SIL worked at a cash 'cage' while living in Vegas, Told us one of the saddest things was cashing SS checks for seniors then seeing them later at the machines plunging coins into the slots but never returning to the 'cage' to redeem tickets or cash in their cups full of coins.

Craps and 21 in that order. Keno only when eating. Learned to count cards in 21 (from my service card playing days). Made a little money but not enough for a career. More excitement at a craps table, 21 card counting is boring. Couldn't concentrate enough at the faceup 8 deck shoes in Atlantic City. I haven't been in a casino in 5-6 years.

I don't even think of card counting with an 8 deck shoe in front of me. Never played Keno, but a lot of my friends enjoy it.

I like to think I can count it, but soon realize I'm only fooling myself, also with more decks than one the odds are against you and better for the house. Has nothing to do with speeding up the game or getting more deals per shuffle.

Oh well, what would I do with tons of money, besides pay tons of taxes on it and give most of it away?
Nothin wrong with that, tho.

I haven't bought more than 5 lotery tickets in the last 10 years. I gotta take my grandson home this afternoon, maybe I'll get a couple tickets on my way back; one filled in with my "lucky numbers" and one from the machine.

Good Luck to me and anyone else 🤞
