Hello from Florida

My name is Jaiden, I'm 75 and recently widowed and I just moved to Florida to live with my son, his husband and their 2 kids, plus a cat and 2 dogs. I'm loving it here! I feel like I'm living at a resort. I'm also enjoying the busy lifestyle of being part of an active family. The only thing I miss is talking to people in my own age group, so I'm excited to find this forum.

I never expected that I'd be beginning a whole new life at my age, and I'm so grateful.

You and I are the same age. There are plenty of cat/dog/animal lovers here. It sounds as though Florida is a
great fit for you! How lovely that you can be with your son and his family. It obviously makes you very
happy :)

and thank you for the introductory post for us to start getting to know you.
I noticed some nice posts that you have already written for other threads, so I came to look for your Intro post, here, so I could welcome you.:giggle:

I am glad you are already participating! And also glad your move has worked out for you, there.:)
I am in New England, where you moved from, and where the Autumn has been wonderful, but the temps are already and suddenly, very cold!
(Just to make you happy you are not spending the winter up North. 🥶;):LOL:)
