After you have been around for a while here, you can update your location information, so people know what part of the world you live in. Although the majority of the members here are Americans, there are also seniors from other countries like Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada and other places. AS in most things there are folks that post here every day, and others who only drop in once in a while. A wide range of interests, and opinions are to be found here. And a range of ages too. JimB.

Hi there. It will not take you long to be officially addicted to the place. Something of interest to every one here. As you will see, one of the few things we do not do here is Politics....got too controversal.
I have been here since 2016, just before I retired. It helped me adapt to retirement.

Hi There...

My goodness what a nice warm welcoming committee here at Senior Forums. Yep you're right I do find it interesting and quite a bit fun as I look around. Good to see politics is left by the wayside; there is enough of that discussion just about everywhere else these days.

Thank you all so much. As suggested I'll be going in to my profile area and putting info for y'all to make fun of.. I mean see.. :D .. I'll click a profile or three of yours to get an idea of how it's done here.

See y'all out there in the discussions.

I'm not seeing how to edit my profile or input stuff about me. I've gone into the profile area and all I see is "update your status." Am I missing something? Or is editing the profile available after being a posting member for a while; I've seen that in a few forums before.
