I am going to have my own way now, (a thread about occasions when we have decided to dig our heels in)

I notice some very focused and successful folks do know when to draw a line under things and insist upon having their own way, (if they're paying for the privilege then its hard to argue isn't it).

Are there any occasions springing to your mind when you, or someone you know well, has dug their heels in and said or done something notable, (maybe when all around are advising you/them not to)?

Perhaps you're very assertive and find yourself doing this every day.

Last night I attended a bar where a general knowledge quiz was taking place, and one of our team of four decided to head home half way through, (she'd been annoyed at something her ex. a fellow team member had said perhaps).

They are a very fun team to be a member of, and know one another very well (obviously), so I expect all will be well between them by next week, but lots of others in the bar will be having a very good laugh about the lady taking a taxi home at short notice I'm sure! :giggle:
