Is Anyone Here at 87?

Well I was all signed out and on the way to get the jammies on when I thought I would have one more look at this thread.

I will be 90 next April and to be quite honest, although we old ones probably have wisdom and experience beyond you youngsters in your 60s and 70's and 80's , well, you know, it does get filed away and sometimes it is hard to open the filing cabinet to check things out.
Besides, it might not be the right thing for you.
So , I would say , just live your life to the best of your ability and do what you think is right for you at your age. It does not matter how it was for someone else. You are the one living it.
Now I am wide awake again so will go get a cup o tea and maybe a choc biscuit or two.
Nite, nite.

I'm 87 and would like to compare notes with others who are 87 now.
No, but I just turned 70 the middle of November. The seniors I play cards with are up there with you. So I feel like they are far surpassing me and they have health issues, I don't envy them. Luckily, I have a couple of ex-nurses, so they help us a little. I hope you are doing well and strong.

I have no serious illnesses but I gave up driving a car. My daughter thought it was safer that way. Thus, I use limos if I have to go somewhere. The limo company only charges me $ 100 plus $ 15 tip for the driver. I rarely use it anyway.

I do have bad arthritis but walk 2,000 steps every day to make sure my joints in my feet and legs continue to function.
