Being positive is the best way to go.

In combatting some issues in life, I have decided to approach it with being positive. Now, that takes mental exercises that mean thinking before speaking, and responding in a different way than I used to. It takes patience and seeing ways to respond that I hadn't thought about before. Saying things like, "I hadn't looked at it that before," or "that's something to think about". Yes, sometimes I fail, but, I don't give up. This world needs a BIG dose of positivity. People will also notice your responses are positive, and will remember you for it.

Recently I had a series of three things happen in succession where I was wondering who or what was testing me? Number three was my car being stolen. I was getting calls and texts in support and I really said this, Don’t worry, “they’re not going to break me!” (I would be lying if I said I didn’t have some dark days though.) Maybe I’ll share number one and two someday.

I agree! Shut off the TV, have a sip of wine and snug up with someone you love. Sort of reminds me of one of my favourite Eddie Arnold or Jim Reeves songs "Make the World Go Away."

I try to stay positive most of the time. I lived with a very negative person in the past and it would beat me down at times. Finally, I said I have had enough. Now I try to enjoy my life and not look at what might happen. I read Dr. Vincent Peale's books over and over and he inspires me every time. Stress and worry are horrible things to live with. Music helps.

By nature, all life must be blissful and free from suffering.
Thinking, speaking, behaving, acting; all are to become and remain permeated with the conscious awareness of the Being.
Positive thought is better than negative thought, of course, but it is still in the relative mind, so, still in an imaginary basis.
Trying to think positive is "mood making". Thinking can never be a profound basis for living one's life.
It's necessary to positively BE. It's the power of BEING that must be acquired. Positive thinking, even the science of the mind,
holds no value and is only self deluding when compared with experiencing the Being.
When God is left out of the equation, until the consciousness arrives at the absolute, eternal divine creative intelligence
this can't be lived in reality; only imagined.
You can delude yourself that you only have positive thoughts and they are powerful, but it's far removed from reality.
